Frequently Asked Questions
All of our 2021 Spring Author events will be presented online using the Zoom platform. It is free and an account is not needed to participate. Below should answer your questions but feel free to contact Phyllis Wolf or Maya Siler for additional support.
How do we access live discussions with guest authors?
Once you have purchased your tickets/series pass, you will receive a link to register for the event to be presented on Zoom. All ticket purchasers/pass holders must register online for the Zoom event. The registration link will be sent via email when you purchase your tickets. You will receive two reminders with the access link (from Phyllis), when you register, and the morning of the program. If you prefer to participate in the discussion via telephone rather than a video conference, the email confirmation you receive for registering will provide phone access information. Zooms are not open to the general public to register.
Will the discussions be interactive? Will there be an opportunity for questions and answers?
Yes, there will be an opportunity to ask and submit questions during the discussions. You can submit questions live via the Zoom chat feature or raise your hand under the participants' list. For security and time, we may need to curate questions to some extent.
Can I purchase tickets or a series pass as a gift for someone outside my household?
Yes! These author presentations are open to anyone who has a paid registration and are a very thoughtful gift. To do this, when you check out, you must enter the recipient's email address. Unfortunately, this means the payment receipt will go to the recipient, but this is how email addresses are collected for streaming link distribution. We regret the inconvenience but hope you will still consider giving the gift of literature! Please contact for assistance in gifting a ticket to another person. We will then add them to the Zoom registration and email link distribution.
